Data scope
Kanji Flash currently ships only JLPT N5 kanji. N4-N1 are mentioned as planned coverage, not as available decks. This avoids overstating the product while the full v1 version is still in progress.
The quiz data is kept browser-friendly. It excludes bulky example sentences, word lists, similar-kanji data, and references that do not help the current multiple-choice flow.
Meanings and readings
Meanings are intentionally short because they appear as answer choices. Kanji Flash prefers concise recall prompts over dictionary-style completeness.
Readings are shown as onyomi and kunyomi after the learner answers. This supports recognition first, then review.
Localization and corrections
Localized meanings and interface text are written to sound natural in English, Indonesian, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. If a phrase sounds awkward or a meaning is wrong, it should be treated as a fixable content issue.
Correction reports can be sent to admin@jepang.org. Useful reports include the kanji, page or language, what looks wrong, and a suggested correction when possible.

Kanji Flash is independent and is not affiliated with the Japan Foundation, Japan Educational Exchanges and Services, or any official JLPT body. Use it as a quick practice tool alongside textbooks, dictionaries, classes, and official exam materials.
